Our Signature Treatment
Skin regeneration, through science.
NeoGen Plasma is the technology behind our full range of skin treatments — from low energy sessions supporting acne, rosacea, melasma and pigmentation, through to higher energy skin rejuvenation, plus the Woodside Glow. Delivered by Amy, a registered nurse, and tailored to your skin, your concern and the recovery time that works for you.
What is NeoGen?
NeoGen uses pure nitrogen plasma to deliver controlled thermal energy into the skin. Amy applies this energy, in careful pulses, to the areas you're working on together — without creating an open wound.
That controlled heat encourages a physiological response within the skin: the dermis remodels, and collagen and elastin production is stimulated. Over the following weeks, this can support visible improvements in firmness, texture and tone.
Because the energy level can be adjusted, your treatment can be tailored — from a gentler, cumulative approach through to a more intensive session, depending on your concern, your goals and the recovery time you have available.
What would you like to improve?
NeoGen can be tailored to a number of specific concerns, using either a lower or higher energy approach. Your Skin Health Consultation will confirm the right starting point for you.

The Woodside Glow →Tailored to you
Amy adjusts the energy delivered according to your skin, your concern, your desired results and how much recovery time you have. Generally, more energy means more intensity — and more recovery time.
A gentler approach with less recovery time, working best as a considered course. Suitable for skin affected by rosacea, acne, melasma and pigmentation, and for the Woodside Glow.
A more intensive approach for deeper skin rejuvenation, with correspondingly more downtime. Discussed and agreed with you at consultation.

A Skin Health Consultation with Amy — 45 minutes to assess your skin, talk through your concern and agree the right approach. £40, fully credited against your treatment.
Amy recommends the most suitable energy level and number of sessions for your skin and goals.
A personalised skincare recommendation, giving your skin the best starting point.
The NeoGen handpiece delivers controlled plasma energy to the treatment area, at the depth agreed with you.
You'll leave with full written aftercare notes. Downtime varies by energy level and area — we'll talk you through what to expect for you.
Your skin continues to change over the following weeks as collagen production increases. A mid-course review keeps things on track.
During treatment
NeoGen feels warm rather than painful — most clients describe it as very tolerable, though sensation does depend on the energy level and area being treated. Use of numbing cream will be advised where appropriate, and Amy will explain exactly what to expect before you begin — you'll go at your pace throughout.
Downtime follows the same pattern: at lower energy settings, expect mild redness for a few days and some dry, flaking skin for up to a week. At higher energy settings, redness can last 5–7 days with dry, flaky skin for up to two weeks as the deeper renewal takes place. There isn't one "NeoGen recovery" — we'll agree what's realistic for you at consultation. See our full downtime guide →
The evidence
NeoGen isn't about changing your skin overnight. The treatment stimulates a process within the skin, so improvements can continue to develop for weeks and months after your last session.

NeoGen FAQ
NeoGen is a plasma skin regeneration treatment. It uses nitrogen plasma to deliver controlled thermal energy into the skin, stimulating the skin's own renewal process — including collagen and elastin production.
No. NeoGen uses nitrogen plasma rather than laser energy to deliver controlled thermal energy to the skin. It's a different technology with a different treatment and recovery profile.
It depends on your main concern. As a general guide: lower energy suits acne, rosacea, melasma and pigmentation, while higher energy is used for deeper skin rejuvenation. Scarring is treated as its own course. Your consultation will confirm what's right for you — you don't need to know in advance.
Yes — every NeoGen treatment starts with a Skin Health Consultation. It's £40, fully credited against your first treatment, and it's where we agree the right energy level and number of sessions for your skin.
Most clients find it very tolerable — you'll feel warmth rather than pain, though this varies by energy level and area. Use of numbing cream will be advised where appropriate, and Amy will talk you through exactly what to expect before you begin.
This depends on the energy level used. Lower energy settings typically mean mild redness and some flaking for up to a week; higher energy settings can mean redness for 5–7 days and flaking for up to two weeks. We'll agree what's realistic for you at consultation, and you'll receive full written aftercare notes.
One session will show some improvement, but a course of treatments is recommended to see real, lasting results. The right number of sessions for you will be discussed at your consultation.
Some changes are visible as your skin recovers between sessions, but the fuller picture develops over the following weeks and months as collagen production continues. We'll set realistic expectations with you before you start.
Yes — treatment around the eyes uses a gentler approach designed for this more delicate area. This can be included as part of your higher energy session and will be discussed at consultation.
